When you stay in Val Thorens, you can expect plenty of surprises in store! With snow in abundance, sun-soaked slopes, high-quality lifts and a dazzling range of other activities, Val Thorens is a ski resort like no other.

Located at the heart of a large natural amphitheatre dominated by six glaciers, the ski resort of Val Thorens is the highest area of the 3 Vallées and offers stunning vistas. With huge swathes of powder snow and perfectly groomed slopes, you can enjoy the perfect winter playground, however experienced you are.

Open from November to May, the Val Thorens resort boasts 150 km of slopes, with 11 greens, 34 blues, 29 reds and 9 blacks, as well as 31 lifts. What’s more, there are links with the rest of the 3 Vallées area for a total of 600 km of slopes for both seasoned skiers and beginners.
