A great place with a very nice staff and atmosphere. They look after their customers and no effort is too great for them. From the moment you enter and even at the very moment of departure they are able to deliver a great service and positively surprise you. The Cosy Home room we stayed in was high quality and all the meals were great as well.
We stayed in the Pashmina for the second time and loved it even more! We have stayed in the Altapura and the Koh-I Nor before but the Pashmina is in a different league of its own!
The hotel feels very cosy. You can see that it is owned and run by a family and the Cedric puts a lot of heart and soul into the place. The staff is exceptionally kind, the food is amazing in the Base Camp and even more outstanding in Les Explorateurs. The hotel has a very nice spa and offers yoga classes which are perfect for skiing!
Overall we cannot wish for more in a mountain hotel and everywhere else we go will have a very hard time to compare to the Pashmina

Wonderfull voice and guitar
I booked this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was the right decision! From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I've never experienced such customer service on a snow holiday. It's the small things that really get noticed. The reception staff remembering your name and sparing the time to catch up if they're not too busy, the ski shop guys helping with skis and chatting about your day, the cleaners always smiling and the extra bits to surprise my wife on her birthday.

We spend a magical time at Pashmina.
I am a seasoned international traveller who had just about given up on France for confort, functionality, service and design.
I am also an experienced skier with lots of time spent in the French Alps in my younger life.
This time about was our first time for a family ski trip with my wife and our 6 year old daughter. I wanted to get it right in late season and booked Pashmina for 4 nights in half board in April.
The level of attention, design, service and confort at Pashmina is just exquisite. The design itself of the hotel is incredible - they got it very special (and right) on about everything.
The passion of the family owner Cédric and his staff is felt at every corner of the hotel, from the beautiful spa, the quiet diner areas at Basecamp, the rooms, to the ski shop (which is part of a network of 14 shops and has the latest ski models and a lot of stock and super staff).
We particularly enjoyed the in-room breakfast which made us save a ton of time in the morning. Our daughter made it on time for her 9:00 ski lesson every morning.
The staff is composed of “season workers” so it’s a bit orignal compared to the level of experience you would see in high end hotels in large cities. But their attitude makes up for it: international, open minded and passionate about service. I had never seen something like that in France before : no horrible French accent when speaking English and a world class service. We absolutely loved it.
The level of the kitchen at Basecamp is already very refined compared to what you would get a 4 star hotel buffet - service at the table and a choice of starter / main course with a variety of fish / meat / veggie every evening. On the other side, Les Explorateurs seems to be a whole new level. The kitchen is shared between the 2 hotel restaurants so we hope that more flexibility will be provided in the future to upgrade to Explorateurs.
Budget permitting we will definitely come back to Pashmina and we keep a very very very warm and relaxing memory of our stay. We absolutely loved it and we want to thank the whole team for making our stay amazing.
Hotel Pashmina exceeded my expectations by far! From the moment we stepped in and we’ve been upgraded until the last day when we were offered a packed lunch and a beautiful thermos flask with spicy cinnamon tea. The customer service was the best we’ve ever experienced in France! Gestures like helping with the skis by taking them out from the locker on the slope and same to put them back in the locker when we were back, always greeting us, flexibility with the half board, arranging activities. Staff at Reception, especially Dana and Monica, staff at the bar and the restaurant, they are absolutely lovely, always willing to help and please. Being an interior designer, I loved the attention to the details and the interior is wonderful. The facilities are top notch with jacuzzi outside and hot tub and a superb Spa with indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and also a bar. Also, Hotel Pashmina’s location is brilliant, ski in and ski out. Thank you so much for making our best ski holiday ever and we are looking forward to be back next year!
Third time we stayed at this excellent hotel and we Will be back next year again.
Everything is outstanding! Best location ski in/ski out . Luxury and charmig design. The rooms has everything you could ask for. Management are topclass from mail contact to the best treatment in the skishop. They even helped me with my boots and placed my skis outside so I was ready to jump out into the pist.
The whole staff always meet you with a smile.
The restaurant Base Camp served us with delicious food and wine.
Looking forward to next year
We spent a week at the Pashmina hotel at Val Thorens. The service standards of the hotel were amongst the highest I encountered. We stayed at the hotel chalet it was exceptional For a family . Very spacious and equipped with everything a family needs. The SPA is essential after a day on the slopes and the pashmina spa is amazing. The staff is so friendly and helpful that this is an experience of its own. They went out of their way to assist us in any thing we needed. We will definitely return to the Pashmina.
