To make the most of the mountains, the choice of accommodation is essential. In Val Thorens, certain addresses combine direct access to the slopes, top-of-the-range comfort and a warm atmosphere for a unique holiday experience.
World Ski Awards 2025 and 2026: why Pashmina?
The Pashmina was crowned World’s Best Ski Boutique Hotel at the World Ski Awards 2025 and 2026. This title, awarded by the international organization World Ski Awards, says something definite about what the hotel is: a human-scale address, with the high standards of a major Val Thorens hotel but without the anonymity that sometimes goes with it.
At an altitude of 2,345 metres, the rooms open onto the peaks that frame Val Thorens: the Péclet glacier, the Aiguilles des Saints-Pères, the Cime Caron. Opening the curtains in the morning to the first rays setting the snow ablaze, it’s hard to imagine a better wake-up call.
Rooms, suites and Cosy Homes: Val Thorens in your own way
Le Pashmina offers 45 rooms and suites up to 82 m², as well as nine Cosy Homes from 60 to 155 m². The latter offer more space and flexibility for family and friends, while retaining full access to common areas such as the spa, restaurants and ski-shop. The autonomy of an apartment, the services of a 5-star resort.
The architecture is by Antonio Arrò. The interior design is the work of co-owner Stefanie Gorini and Aurélie Rey-Arnaud: soft materials, meticulous details, a chalet spirit without the usual Alpine clichés.
